Bomoseen Alice M. Hodges 82, died early Wednesday morning March 11, 2015 at the Residence at Otter Creek in Middlebury. Born February 12, 1933 in Elizabeth, NJ the daughter of the late John and Sarah (Schippert) Reid. Alice was a graduate of Barrington High school, Newark, NJ and also was a graduate of the University of Michigan with a degree in Geology. She was a member of the Castleton Womans Club. Alice was an avid reader and enjoyed bird watching, gardening, boating, crossword puzzles and enjoyed Lake Bomoseen. She is survived by her companion of 26 years Frank Wilbur of Bomoseen, by her son Addison Hodges, of Puerto Rico, by her daughter Allison Davis and her husband Louis of Merrimack, NH, by her sister, Florence Dreschel of Montclair, NJ, by her grandchildren, Sarah Wollet, Alex Smith, Ethan Davis and Aaron Davis, by her great-granddaughter Keira Wollet. Also by numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. She was predeceased by her siblings, William and Joseph Reid and Helen Quinn. A Celebration of her life will be held on Sunday March 22, 2015 at 3 P.M. at the Trak-In Restaurant 2551 Route 30 North, Bomoseen.
