Amy L. Morgan 42, died Wednesday August 17, 2016 at Rutland Regional Medical Center after a brief illness surrounded by her loving family. She was born April 19, 1974 in Rutland the daughter of Brian and Betty Morgan. Amy was a 1992 graduate of Poultney High School, and had been employed at Rutland Regional Medical Center for several years. She enjoyed crafting, collecting tigers, fishing and spending time with her nieces and nephew. Amy is survived by her fianc Jeffrey Moody of West Rutland, by her father Brian A. Morgan and wife Sherri of Clarendon, by her mother Betty Thomas and husband Michael of Poultney, by her maternal grandfather Joseph Tuliper of Rutland, by her sister, Jessica Morgan and fianc Robert Flanders of Clarendon and her half sister Lisa Thomas of Rochester, NY. Also by numerous aunts, uncles, great aunts, great uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins. She was predeceased by her son Jordon Michael Moody in 2003, her brother Michael Morgan in 1999 and by her maternal grandmother and paternal grandfather and grandmother. A Celebration of her life will be held on Saturday August 27, 2016 at the West Rutland American Legion from 1-5 P.M. Private burial will be in Poultney Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Rutland County Humane Society at 765 Stevens Road, Pittsford, VT 05763.
