Armand Paul Valenty 86, died Wednesday December 24, 2014 at his residence.
Born April 6, 1928 in Rutland the son of the late Mike and Teresa (Daniello) Valenty. He was a graduate of Mount Saint Joseph class of 1945.
He was a veteran and served with the United States Army during the Korean Conflict.
Armand was a machinist by trade. He was a member of Post # 50 Castleton American Legion and enjoyed photography, wood working, cars and architecture.
Survivors are his sisters, Esther Coleman of Rutland, Emily Presbyto of Westchester, NY and Louise Criscione of Latham, NY and by several nieces, nephews and cousins.
He was predeceased by his parents and his brothers, Benjamin and Anthony Valenty, by his sisters Agnes Sheldon and Elizabeth McMillan.
A graveside service will be held in the spring in the Vermont Veterans Cemetery in Randolph.
Memorial contributions may be made to Post # 50 Castleton American Legion.
