Donna L. Gendreau 58, of Rutland died early Monday morning March 28, 2016 at Rutland Regional Medical Center after a long battle with a chronic illness. She was born May 24, 1957 in Glens Falls, NY the daughter of Charles F. and Margaret (Benton)Pope. Donna was an avid bingo player. She enjoyed playing cards and spending time with family. She is survived by her children, Jodie Pope of Rutland, Charles Duncan of West Rutland and Richard Duncan of Proctor; her mother of Poultney; by her siblings, Betty Barry of Poultney, Elsie Cram of Hartford, NY, Charles and Ronald Pope both of Fair Haven; by her Step daughters, Amanda and Tonya and her 5 grandchildren and 7 step-grandchildren. She is predeceased by her Father, Charles F. Pope. Visiting hours for family and friends will be held on Friday April 1, 2016 from 5-7 P.M. at the Ducharme Funeral Home Inc, located at 1939 Main Street, Castleton.
