Poultney, VT Mrs. Dorothy L. Barlow Dorothy L. Barlow, 63, died early Saturday morning March 18, 2006 at Rutland Regional Medical Center after a brief illness. She was born September 27, 1942 in Whitehall, NY the daughter of the later Robert & Beatrice (wheeler) Battease, she attended local schools in Whitehall. She enjoyed playing bingo, and loved to play poker with family and friends. She is survived by her loving companion David Stone, of Poultney, her two sons, Samuel Young, of Ticonderoga, Ny, Clarence Barlow Jr., of Center Rutland, her daughters, Sandra Diffee, of Granville, Ny, Terri Morgan, of Rutland, Crissa, Coppins, of Poultney, also by her three step-daughters, and her two step-sons, also by her sister, Bernice Battease, of Hudson Falls, NY, her brother, Robert Battease, of Watertown, Ma Several nieces, nephews and cousins. Also by her nine grandchildren She was predeceased by her brother James Battease. Memorial services will be held on Tuesday March 21, 2006 at 2 PM at the Ducharme Funeral Home in Castleton. The Rev. Charles Danielson will officiate. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be given to the American Cancer Society at Arrangements have been entrusted to the Ducharme Funeral Home in Castleton.
