Rutland- Ellen M. ORourke 1944-2009 Ellen M. O Rourke died November 12, at Rutland Regional Medical Center. She was born in Glasgow, Scotland in 1944, the daughter of William and Peggy Mac Ewan. She was a graduate of Holy Rood High School Glasgow. She was taken by her higher power to a place she can rest in peace without pain. Before she retired with bad health, she was the office manager at the Salvation Army on Wales St. Rutland for several years, was a keen quilt maker and an avid fan of the internet. Surviving are her husband Joseph, her three children, Elieen, Joseph, Mauren and son-in-law Adam who were all at her bedside till she passed away, her daughter in-law Heidi, seven grandchildren, Steven, Megan, Callum, Heather, Erin, Caitlin and Eibhlin who were beloved to her. The Ducharme Funeral Home of Castleton were in charge of all arrangements.
