PAWLET – Erica D. Hewitt

Erica D. Hewitt-Crossman, 41, died unexpectedly in her Pawlet home Sept. 15, 2024.

She was born April 30, 1983, in Rutland, the daughter of Darlene Bresnick and Douglas Hewitt.

She graduated from Fair Haven Union High School in 2002. She recently married Brian Crossman on June 13, 2024. Mrs. Hewitt-Crossman worked in various positions at Green Mountain Power for 20 years.

She spent her free time hunting, fishing, and tending to her flowers.

Survivors include her son, Luke Nusbaum of Fair Haven, V.T.; her parents, Douglas Hewitt of Tinmouth, V.T. and Darlene Bresnick of Swanzey, N.H.; four brothers, Doug Hewitt Jr. of Fair Haven, V.T., Kevin Hewitt of Hancock, V.T., Josh Hewitt of Queensbury, N.Y., and Aaron Bresnick of Rindge, N.H.; one sister, Jessica Longe of Georgia, V.T.; and several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews. There are no calling hours. There will be a celebration of life from 1:00

onwards on Sunday, September 29,2024 at the Poultney Legion, 689 Granville Street in Poultney, V.T. All are welcome.
