Castleton Eunice A. (Sue) Squiers Eunice A. (Sue) Squiers, 95, passed away Tuesday evening May 12, 2020, at her home with loving family by her side. She was born Sept. 4, 1924 in Winhall, Vt the daughter of Harry J. and Ruth (Ross) Shattuck. In 1951 she married Pierce R Squiers, and resided in Arlington, VT until coming to live with her daughter in Castleton Gramma Sue, as she was affectionately known, enjoyed sewing, embroidery, bird watching, and flowers. Her greatest love was her grandchildren and great grandchildren. Survivors include her two children Fred Squiers (Connie) of Barre Town, VT and Diane Blodgett (Dave) of Castleton VT; one sister, Lilla Hall of Jamaica, VT; six grandchildren, fourteen great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her parents, her husband, six brothers, Almon, William, twin brother Eugene, Harold, Henry, and Robert Shattuck, and two sisters, Margaret Rockwell and Frances Crandall. Private graveside services will be held at this time, with a celebration of life to be held at a later date.
