Hubbardton, VT Frank E. Landon
FrankToes Edward Landon, 53, died Wednesday August 1, 2012 at Fletcher Allen Healthcare in Burlington after a brief illness.
He was born March 11, 1959 in Proctor, the son of Melvin E. Landon Sr. and Rose (LHeureux) Landon.
Frank was employed as a truck driver, working for Elnicki Earth Waste Systems and most recently for John Trombley Construction/Trucking. He has driven truck millions of miles with an accident free record and has been awarded several awards for his safe driving record.
He was the Mr. Fix It mechanic and enjoyed building cars, trucks and models.
Survivors are his mother, Rose Severance of Hubbardton, his son, John Edward Landon of West Rutland, Frank E. Reed who he raised as his son, brothers, Martin L. Landon of Middlebury and Melvin E. Landon Jr. of Hubbardton; sisters, Ann McNaughton, of Dover, NY and Erica Senecal of Castleton; his companion Heather Daniels of Hubbardton, five grandchildren and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
He was predeceased by his father and a sister, Marge Wood.
Family and friends may call on Saturday August 4, 2012 from 4 P.M. until 6 P.M. at the Ducharme Funeral Home Inc., 1939 Main Street Castleton.
A memorial service will be held at a later date at Trinity Episcopal Church, Rutland.
