George C. Ouellette 84, passed away early Wednesday morning February 26, 2014 at his home in Fair Haven. Born January 18, 1930 in Hubbardton, VT the son of the late George Henry and Mary Rose (Preseau) Ouellette. George married Judy McGuiness on April 19, 1958 at Our Lady of Seven Dolors Catholic Church. He served with the United States Army stationed in Germany during the Korean Conflict. George was a truck driver working for Moon Freight Lines for 24 years retiring in 1990. He was a former member of the Fair Haven Eagles Club. George was an avid NASCAR fan and enjoyed car shows and tractor pulls, boating, camping dining out and shopping. He is survived by his wife Judy of Fair Haven, by his two sons, Michael Ouellette of Rutland and Patrick Ouellette of Fair Haven, by his two daughters, Donna Fortier and husband Lewis of Granville, NY and Anne Ruby and husband Peter of Fair Haven, by his sisters, Theresa, Sylvia, Alice and Vivian, by his brothers, Emile, Paul and Edmund, by his grandchildren, Rebecca, Aaron, Angelia, Kristen, Makayla and Katlynn. Also by numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. He was predeceased by his parents and his brothers, Maurice, Charles, Fernand and Raymond. There will be no Funeral service or visiting hours per his request. A graveside service will be held at a later date in St. Marys Cemetery in Fair Haven.
