NORTH CLARENDON — Glen A. FitzGerald, 79, of North Clarendon, died June 27th, 2024, at Rutland Regional Medical Center.

He was born on Aug. 24th, 1944, son of Ralph R. and Frances L. (Willard) FitzGerald. He graduated from RHS class of 1963, then worked for Moore Business Forms and retired in 1998.

Glen was an outgoing wonderful family man who loved being in his woodworking shop building birdhouses, birdfeeders, windmills, and many other trinkets. He was an avid outdoorsman taking pleasure in many activities such as hunting, fishing, camping, and many other things. He enjoyed being at the races with his brother, friends, and family. He also had an art for hand painting lettering on racecars, emergency vehicles, and hot rods.

Surviving is brother, Ralph FitzGerald of Sarasota, FL; sons, Michael FitzGerald of Harrison, AR and Holden FitzGerald of Harrison, AR; stepson, Steve Grantham of Milton, FL; a nephew, Andrew FitzGerald of West Rutland, VT; a lifelong friend, Lauren Kayhill of Wallingford, VT; and several nieces, nephews, and grandchildren. He was predeceased by his wife, Barbra FitzGerald, brother, Gary FitzGerald, and a nephew, Scott FitzGerald.

There will be no calling hours. A celebration of life will be held at the West Rutland American Legion post 87 upstairs on July 7th, 2024 from 12-4 pm.
