Gyle Perkins Josselyn Jr., 91 died Wednesday April 26, 2017 at Rutland Regional Medical Center.
He was born May 21, 1925 in Ludlow, VT the son of Gyle P Josselyn Sr. and Mable (Lavine) Josselyn.
Gyle enlisted with the United States Army on September 5, 1950 and served in Germany during the Korean Conflict, being honorably discharged April 25, 1952.
He went on and married the love of his life Loretta Wheeler on June 28, 1951 in Baltimore, MD.
Gyle worked at General Electric for many years as a machinist.
During his younger years he was a member of the Fair Haven Volunteer Rescue Squad. He was a self taught painter and wood worker.
Survivors are his wife Loretta of Granville, NY his daughter Marcella Josselyn, by his sisters, Doris Belfore and Joyce Ann Grady and several nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by his parents and by his daughter Denise Friedman.
Services will be private.
