Hubbardton, VT Mr. Henry J. Bargmann Mr. Henry J. Bargmann, 73, died Sunday September 3, 2006 at his residence after a long illness. He was born May 18, 1933 in Nyack, NY the son of the late Henry L & Anna (Tolksdorf) Bargmann. He was a United States Navy Veteran. He was a member of the Good Shepherd Lutheran Church, of Rutland, the Lambda Chi Alpha Fraternity, of Gettysburg College, Gettysburg, PA, a past member of the Castleton Lions Club, and the Boy Scouts of America Troop # 122 of Castleton, and the Red & White Booster Club. His passion for baseball inspired much youth participation for many years, umpiring Little League and coaching Babe Ruth league, in Poultney, VT. He enjoyed Fishing, playing cards and Bingo. He loved sports and was an avid Brooklyn Dodgers Fan. He is survived by his wife Frances (Blanchard) Bargmann, of Hubbardton, his daughters, Kathleen Jones, of Roanoke, Indiana, Lorraine Bargmann, of Vermont, Maureen Jones, Of Colchester, VT, his son Thomas H. Bargmann & his wife Lori, of Harrisburg, PA, his grandchildren, Thomas Nicholas Bargmann & Jennifer Bargmann, both of Harrisburg, PA, Cariana Jones, of Roanoke, Indiana, and Stephanie Billow, Of VT, by his brother-in-law, Jim Wagner, of Bethlehem, PA, and also by 2 nieces. He was predeceased by his parents and also his sister Dorothy Wagner. Visiting hours will be on Friday September 8, 2006 from 5-7 PM at the Ducharme Funeral Home located at 1939 Main Street Castleton, VT. Funeral services will be held on Saturday September 9, 2006 @ 10:30 AM at the Funeral Home. The Rev. Sharon Hughes pastor of the Good Shepherd Lutheran Church will officiate. In lieu of flowers Memorial Contributions may be made to the Castleton Community Center @ 2108 Main Street, Castleton, VT 05735, or to the Rutland Area Visiting Nurse & Hospice @ 7 Albert Cree Drive, Rutland, VT 05701 or to Easy Transitions Of Rutland @ 14 Earl Street Rutland, VT 05701.
