James A.JD Eagan Jr., 67 died suddenly at his home, March 28, 2008. He was born February 9, 1941 in Castleton, the son of the late James A. Sr. and Elizabeth (Bushy) Eagan. He was a union quarryman having worked for Vermont Structural Slate Co. for many years. James loved the outdoors; he enjoyed hunting, fishing and four wheeling. He is survived by his sisters Theresa Monette and her husband Jim of Castleton, Pauline Stevens of Virginia, by several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and numerous cousins. He was predeceased by his parents James A. Eagan and Elizabeth (Bushy) Eagan. There will be no service at this time. A private burial will take place at a later date in Hillside Cemetery. Arrangements have been entrusted to Ducharme Funeral Home 1939 Main Street Castleton.
