Bomoseen - JAMES LOSNECK
James Leonard Losneck died on July 30, 2011 near his home in Bomoseen, Vermont. A resident of Cleveland, Ohio for most of his life, Mr. Losnecks enthusiasms included his friends, his politics, and especially his boats. Born in September, 1946 to Theophelia Rose (Slusarski) and Leonard Aloysius Losneck (both deceased), Jim lived with brothers Ronald (deceased) and Kenneth, and several aunts and uncles. Jim served as an Army Sergeant in Viet Nam, followed by an extended career at Xerox and other innovative technology firms.
He and his wife Melinda moved to rural Vermont in 2004, where Jim worked with the Century 21 Bird Real Estate Team, and also owned a successful property management business. His life in Vermont was enriched by many friends, being on the lake, international travel with Melinda, and a love for his family.
Those who will miss his unwavering support, generosity, and companionship include his
wife Melinda (Quinn) Losneck, his children, Matthew Losneck & his wife Alicia, of Madison, WI and Caroline Losneck & her partner Zack Barowitz, of Portland, ME, by his brother Kenneth Losneck, of Brookpark, OH, by his grandson, Miles Losneck, of Madison, WI, by his sister-in-law Lil Losneck, of Brookpark, OH , by several nieces, nephews and cousins, and a crew of friends.
A celebration of Jims life will be held on Friday, August 5, 2011 at 11 A.M. at St. Matthews on Avalon (Corner of Avalon and Creek Rd.) The Rev. Henry Furman pastor as Celebrant.
There will be no visitation hours.
