Jean A. Gray 60, died August 25, 2026 at the Mission Care nursing home in Bennington.

She was born May 5, 1966 in Rutland the daughter of Robert L. Gray and Winona Effie (Brown) Gray.

Jean grew up in Hydeville and attended local schools.

She enjoyed flowers and spending time with her family and friends. She also loved word searches. She could name most of the old classic Rock tunes in 2-3 notes. She was an animal lover and grew up with horses and ponies, Creepers was hers. She was also an awesome cook.

Survivors are her siblings, Robert Gray (Mary), of Plainville, CT, Debbie Regimbald of Castleton and Lynn Gray, of West Rutland, her daughter, Shierra Gray, and two grandchildren. She is also survived by her long time partner Ray Draper and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday Sept. 12, 2026 at 11:00 a.m. at the Ducharme Funeral Home, located at 1939 Main Street, Castleton.

Burial will follow in Hillside Cemetery.
