Castleton, VT Jessie E. Marchinkowski Jessie E. Marchinkowski, 59, died Saturday evening June 17, 2006 at her home after a long battle with Breast cancer. She was born June 1, 1947 in Mineola, New York the daughter of Clarence Larson & Grace Haviland Larson Steves. She was a member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles # 3907, of Fair Haven. She is survived by her mother, Grace Steves, of Fair haven, her daughters, Carol Cressotti, of Hubbardton, and Sara Ward, of Fair Haven, Also by her Step Children, Robert Marchinkowski, of Avon, Ct, Deede Marchinkowski, of Randolph, Anita Taylor, of Salina, Kansas, Lori Linendoll, of Salem, NY, and Lee Ellison, of Mendon, also her sisters, Wendy Ballard & Nancy Hay, of Fair Haven, and Laura Steves, of Athol Ma, also by her brother, Charles Verhoye, of Powder Springs, Ga, and also by several grandchildren, nieces, nephews, aunts & uncles cousins and great grandchildren. She was predeceased by her father, her husband William Marchinkowski who she married October 11, 1968 he died in January 2, 1981, and also by her life companion, Joseph Graham who died March 1, 2005. Funeral service will be held on Tuesday June 20, 2006 at 1 PM at the Ducharme Funeral Home in Castleton. Visiting hours will be on Tuesday June 20, 2006 from 11:00 AM until the time of the service at 1 PM. The Rev Debbie Earthrowl pastor of the Salem, NY United Methodist Church will officiate. Burial will follow in Hillside Cemetery in Castleton. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Cancer center at Rutland Regional Medical Center at 160 Allen Street Rutland, VT 05701.
