Fair Haven - Judith A. Ouellette, 80 passed away Thursday morning July 28, 2016 at her home in Fair Haven. She was born July 26, 1936 in Whitehall, NY the daughter of Edward Owen McGuiness and Dorothy Marguerite (Chase) McGuiness. Judy married George Ouellette on April 19, 1958 at Our Lady of Seven Dolor's Catholic Church, Fair Haven. Judy was a bus driver and coordinator for the Castleton School District for 38 years, retiring in 2013. Judy enjoyed reading books and doing Crossword puzzles. She loved to spend time with her kids and grandchildren while cooking and also enjoyed dining out and shopping. She is survived by her two sons Michael Ouellette of Rutland, Patrick Ouellette of Fair Haven, by her two daughters Anne Ruby and husband Peter of Fair Haven, Donna Fortier and husband Lewis of Granville, NY. Also by her grandchildren Rebecca, Aaron, Angelia, Kristen, Makayla and Katelynn along with her step grandchildren William, John and Laura, also by numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. She was predeceased by her husband George Ouellette and by her parents. There will be no funeral service or visiting hours per her request. A graveside service for the immediate family will be held at St. Mary's Cemetery in Fair Haven. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Red Cross of Vermont, 29 Mansfield Ave., Burlington, VT 05401 and Castleton School District playground.
