Karen Sue worked for The Vermont Country Store and several insurance companies before getting her nursing degree from Vermont Technical College. She graduated from Vermont Technical College with high honors.

Karen loved helping her patients and was very passionate in the care that she provided. She worked at Springfield Hospital in the Intensive Care Unit, The Gill Home and Visiting Nurses as a hospice nurse. She also substituted as a school nurse at Mill River Union High School. She worked at Regional Ambulance Service where she assisted with vaccinations during the pandanic.

Karen is survived by her husband of 29 years, Michael Tarbell and their children Zachary, Levi, Lyla, Malorie and Sheyla. Her parents Rev. Lawrence and Evelyn Jenney. Her siblings Joanna Jenney and Joel Jenney(Michelle). Her grandchildren Trinity, Zander, Nathanael and Everett. Nieces and Nephew: Lily Wyman, Nathaniel, Hannah and Elena Jenney

Karen requested a celebration of life be held in her honor as opposed to traditional funeral services. We invite all of Karens loved ones and friends to join us in celebrating her beautiful life at Ducharme's Funeral Home in Castleton VT on June 30, 2023 at 1:00PM.
