Marilyn L. Marcy, age 69, of Rutland, VT, formerly of Middletown Springs, died Christmas Day, December 25, 2021 from a short illness. She was born in Rutland, VT on October 3, 1952, the daughter of Edward and Jeannette Marcy (Lavallee). She was raised in Middletown Springs VT and graduated from West Rutland High School, then attended St. Joseph College in Bennington. She married Thomas Goodrich Sr. with whom she had 3 children, Thomas Goodrich Jr., Mark Goodrich and Megan Hayes. She was a member of Middletown Springs First Response and Poultney Rescue. Marilyn was predeceased by her parents and by her son, Thomas. Survivors include a daughter, Megan Hayes and her husband Jason Hayes, a son, Mark Goodrich, and a sister, Maureen LaBate. Also, her grandchildren Haley Hayes and her husband, Arthur King, Hunter Hayes, Hannah Hayes, and Hayden Hayes; and her great grandchildren who were the light of her life, Addilynn and Oliver, daughter and son of Haley and Arthur.
