Shrewsbury- Michael James Martin

Michael James Martin 53, died at his residence on June 15, 2024.

He was born November 23, 1970 in Rutland, the son of Jon A. Martin and Deanna (Parker) Martin.

Michael attended Mill River High School. After high school he worked for many years in the logging industry and excavation business.

He loved nature and being outside in the woods. He enjoyed working and tinkering on anything mechanical and was very handy. He was an avid music fan, especially for classic rock, and enjoyed sharing tunes with friends and family, often quoting and singing lyrics. He was very loyal and had a wonderful sense of humor and was loved dearly by all his friends and family.

He is survived by his father, Jon A. Martin (Karen), of Lakeland, FL; his sister, Michelle Martin Shaw of West Chester, PA; by his nieces, Alyssa and Brooke Shaw; by his uncles, Gary Martin (Amanda) and David Parker (Patty) and his aunt, Fran Parker. Also, by his faithful four legged companion, Buggs.

He was predeceased by his mother, Deanna Ettori; by his brother, Steven Martin; and by his wives, Gabrielle and Betsy and by his uncle Donnie Parker

A Celebration of life will be held on Sunday, July 14, 2024 at the Odd Fellows hall in Belmont from 1-3pm.
