Obituary

Paid Obit Proctor, VT Normand Frenchy Frechette Normand Delphis Frechette "Frenchy" In loving memory of a great father, friend and Vermonter. Your presence and conversations will be greatly missed. Normand passed away in the presence of his children at Fletcher Allen Healthcare on Saturday, February 11, 2006 after a short illness. Normand was born in Newport, Vt on October 1, 1948 to Leo Frechette and Theresa Choquette. He attended elementary school at Sacred Heart. In 1956 his family moved to Proctor, VT where he graduated high school in 1968. Normand married and became a machinist at Mal Tool in Rutland until 1980. Over the next several years he worked for the Town of Castleton, Pike Industries of New Haven and as a self-employed Limb Walker. Norm loved conversations and the coffee at Stewarts in West Rutland. Going out for breakfast at JR's in Pittsford, Lunch at Sal's and dinner with his friends at Ponderosa. Normand is survived by his father Leo Frechette from Montpelier, VT. His brother Robert Frechette from Clifton Park, NY. Daughter Tracy Perrotte and Son Matthew Frechette both from South Hero, VT. He has five grandchildren Kayla, Jean-Luc, Kelsey, Margaret and Manny. Services will be held on Wednesday, February 15, 2006 at 11:00 am at the Ducharme Funeral Home in Castleton, VT.
