Patricia Mary Carroll 78, died at her residence after a brief illness. She was born December 15, 1936 in Rutland the daughter of Francis H. and Ida (Pratt) Carroll. She was a graduate of Mount Saint Joseph Academy. Patricia enjoyed playing Yahtzee, fishing, camping, crocheting and spending time with her family. Survivors are her children, Mary Patricia Hutchinson and husband Kenneth, of Castleton and Raymond Preedom of Brookfield. By her brother Robert Carroll of Rutland and her two grandchildren Kenny and Christopher Hutchinson both of Castleton. Also by several nieces, nephews and cousins. She was predeceased by her parents, her husband, Edward Francis Preedom and a grandson Patrick Hutchinson, also by her sister, Margaret Dowd and her brothers Ed Carroll and Francis J. Carroll. A memorial service will be held on Saturday December 19, 2015 at 2 P.M. at the Ducharme Funeral Home Inc. located at 1939 Main Street, Castleton. The Rev. Lewis Stanley will officiate. Burial will be at the convenience of the family in Calvary Cemetery in Rutland. Memorial contributions may be made to the Wallingford Volunteer Rescue Squad at P.O.
