Patti A. Horvath, 63, gained her heavenly wings on Saturday, January 25, 2020 at the University of Vermont Medical Center in Burlington after a brief illness and with her loving husband by her side. Born on April 5, 1956, in Shreveport, LA, Patti was the daughter of Phillip B. Lussier and Barbara M. (Gates) Lussier. She attended and graduated Fair Haven Union High School, class of 1974. Patti held a dedicated career in taking care of others. She worked serving at risk youth at Eckerd Wilderness Camp in Benson, VT, (Camp E-Wen-Akee), she was also a Rape Crisis Advocate, and eventually ended her working career as a Dental Assistant for Dr. Sandler Raluca DDS (Warrensburg, NY) to care for her parents. She was hardworking, but never hesitated to help anyone in need. Patti married her husband, Michael Horvath, on June 30th, 1990 in Lake George, NY. Patti was a beautiful woman inside and out. Most will remember her by her radiant smile, sarcasm, and huge heart. She loved her family and friends deeply and immensely. She also had a love for all animals, country music, maple candy, visiting the beach, horseback riding, vintage crafting and decorating. She was a "Pinterest Woman" all on her own and she could turn dirt into a diamond. She enjoyed taking trips to Florida to see her daughter and her family, playing the nickle machines at the casino, watching her grandson, Brady, play sports and her granddaughter, Bella's dance recitals. She also couldnt resist a good Bananas Foster! She was fun and loving, and always put others first. She is so loved and will be missed by many! Patti is survived by her husband, Michael Horvath (Hampton, NY), her mother Barbara Lussier (Hampton, NY), her children, Brett Kent, (Hampton, NY) and Ashley and Jamie Wert (Largo, FL), by her two brothers, Wayne Lussier (Wells, VT) and Kim Lussier (Plainfield, NH), and her three grandchildren, Brady and Izabella Kent, and Jamyn Wert. She was looking forward to meeting her new Grandaughter, Aubrey Wert, expected to arrive in late January. She was predeceased by her father Phillip B. Lussier who passed on May 6, 2019. At her request, Direct Cremation Services were arranged with Ducharme Funeral Home of Castleton, VT. A Celebration of her life will be held at a later date. Details will be shared as arranged.
