Hydeville, VT Mr. Robert L. Gray Robert L. Gray, 70, died February 23, 2006 in SanDiego, CA. He was born July 22, 1935 in Rutland, VT the son of the late Louis & Margaret (Cobb) Gray. He attended local schools and then joined the United States Navy serving on the USS Columbus. He was employed by HM Brown Co. and also by Coopers Farm Equipment as a mechanic for many years and also by R.F. Hall and Son, and Charlie Monroe and John Trombley. Robert was a member of the American Legion Post # 50 of Castleton. He enjoyed hunting ,fishing and spending time with his family. He is survived by his wife Winona Effie (Brown) Gray, of Hydeville, who he married July 25, 1958. also by his son, Robert F. Gray, of California, his three daughters, Debbie Regimbald, of Hubbardton, Lynn Gray, of Bomoseen, and Jean Gray, of Poultney, also by his brother Joseph Gray, of NY, by his four sisters, Mary Cioch, Katherine Taylor, Shirley Spaulding, and Eileen Mitchell. Also by his six grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his Stepmother, his uncle, one brother and two sisters. A funeral service will be held on Saturday March 4, 2006 at 12:30 PM at the Ducharme Funeral Home. Visiting hours will be on Saturday March 4, 2006 from 10 Am till Noon. In Lieu of flowers memorial contributions in memory of Robert may be given to the American Legion Post # 50, of Castleton. A reception will follow after the service at the American Legion Post # 49 of Fair Haven. Arrangements have been entrusted to the Ducharme Funeral Home in Castleton.
