Rosemary A. Brown, 67, passed away Thursday, April 24, 2014 at Rutland Regional Medical Center. Born in Stockton, California on October 2, 1946, she was the daughter of the late Manuel R. Fonseca and Pauline (Kapitan) Fonseca. Ms. Brown was a self employed baker, cake decorator. She made numerous cakes for many people. Rosemary loved nature and animals, she enjoyed trout fishing in brooks, horses, hunting, coaching little league, and being a Girl Scout Brownie Leader. She was a member of the Vermont Horseman Association, Rough Riders Association, and a 4-H Leader. Rosemary was a do it yourself person, very independent. Surviving is her daughter Tammy Lynn Brown of Hubbardton, VT. Rosemary is predeceased by her parents Manuel and Pauline. In Lieu of flowers, Memorial donations may be made to the Hooved Animal Sanctuary, P.O. Box 258, Chelsea, VT 05038. A Memorial Service will be conducted on Friday the 2nd of May, 2:00 PM at the Ducharme Funeral Home 1939 Main St., Castleton, VT 05753. Rev. Deborah Estey will officiate.
