Poultney – Stanley M. Borucki

Stanley M. Borucki, 56, died Saturday October 28, 2023 at Albany Medical Center in Albany, NY from injuries sustained in a motorcycle accident.

He was born June 26, 1967 in Norwalk, CT the son of Stanley J. and Patricia (Sarrazien) Borucki.

Stanley had many interests and hobbies over the years but most notably he loved to ride Harley Davidson Motorcycles, old Chevy trucks, old tractors, and being in the woods.

He spent several years as a Coast Guard Auxiliary Member, he also volunteered with the Seymour, CT Dive Team as well as the Seymour Fire and Rescue Department. He also owned a bait shop. In Vermont he worked for West Marine in Burlington as a manager for several years. Most recently Stanley was employed as a local school bus driver and a shuttle bus driver on the winter weekends in Stratton, VT.

Stanley was a member of the Saints-N-Sickles MC and also a member of the Vermont Patriot Guard Riders. He was enroute to a funeral when this terrible tragedy changed all our lives forever. He will be missed by many.

Stanley is survived by his parents, Stanley and Patricia Borucki, his sister Colleen Borucki and his niece Kiera both of Springfield, VT, his soulmate and life partner Vickie Wendell of Poultney VT and her children Julia Gosselin and Jasmine Wendell and 2 grandsons, Skyler and Chance Wendell, all of Poultney. Stanley is also survived by a large, loving extended family of Aunts, Uncles, Cousins, and many many many friends from all over the country.

A Memorial service will be at 11 A.M. Friday November 3, 2023 at Ducharme Funeral Home in Castleton VT.

A potluck reception will follow at the Bomoseen Grange Hall right around the corner from the funeral home.

Memorial contributions may be made to Camp Abnaki in North Hero VT to send a boy to summer camp or to a charity of one's choice. There will be a celebration of Stanley's life in the summer of 2024.
