Castleton, VT Stephen David Monego Stephen Steve David Monego 35, died unexpectedly Sunday afternoon. He was born September 1, 1975 in Dayton, OH Steve was a graduate of Poultney High School. He as a member of the Castleton Volunteer Fire Department, and former member of the Wells Volunteer Fire Department he had been active in Volunteer fire fighting since he was 15 years old. Steve loved life and loved to cook especially for family reunions. He was a former cook at the Blue Cat Restaurant, Birdseye Diner, and Fair Haven inn, a former bouncer at Flubber Busters. He is survived by his Mother Catherine Cathy (Geene) Coleman & her husband Bobby, of Enosburg Falls, VT, His Father Robert E. Monego Jr. & his wife Christine, of Castleton, by his paternal grandmother, Beatrice Monego, of Manchester, by his maternal grandmother, Cathryn Geene, by his brothers, Robert E. Monego III, of West Rutland, Joseph Monego & his wife Leah, of Fort Hood, TX, by his sister, Sarah Monego, of Colchester, by his step brothers, Seth Coleman & his wife Nicole, of New Hampshire, Jesse Coleman & his wife Stacey, of Maine, Adam Coleman & his wife Tina, of Monkton, Mason Coleman, stationed in the Middle East with the Unites States Air force, Troy Coleman, of New Hampshire, John Sweeny & his wife Tanya, by his step sisters, Tawna Coleman, of New Hampshire, Kim Ladyga & her husband Eric and Crystal Sweeny. By his uncle Don Geene & his wife Judy, of Florida, by his aunts, Joyce Hall, of Effort, PA, Brenda Monego, of Pittsford and Marilyn Ziegler & her husband Mark, of Mountville, NJ, by numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. A memorial service will be held on Saturday July 23, 2011 at 11 A.M. at the Ducharme Funeral Home Inc. located at 1939 main street Castleton. The Rev.
