Obituary

Thomas Parker HYDEVILLE- Thomas L. Parker, 50, of Creek Road, passed from this life Tuesday, November 28, 2006. Born in Whitehall, NY October 4, 1956, he was the son of the late Raymond Parker and Marion (Aubin) Parker. Tom was a self employed contractor. He loved the outdoors, scuba diving, and boxing. His passion was his work and helping others. For several years he was assistant and scoutmaster with the Boy Scouts of America and had coached Midget League. Family members include his wife Virginia A. Ginny Parker of Hydeville; two children, Shari Scott and her husband Gary of Whitehall, NY, and Joe Black of Hydeville; one granddaughter, Taelore Black; his beloved dog and friend, Gus Albert; his mother Marion Parker of Whitehall, NY; his brother, Michael Parker of Glens Falls; his sisters, Pat Neddo, Linda Rozell and her husband John, and Rosie Marr, all of Whitehall; Lisa Smith and her husband Tim of Southport, North Carolina; and Sue Roberts and her husband Lowell of Rutland; his mother-in-law, Eleanor Charpentier of Whitehall; two brothers-in-law, Albert Charpentier and his wife Mandy of Queensbury, NY, and Edward Charpentier and his wife Pauline of Hudson Falls, NY; three sister-in laws, Barb James and her husband, Sam of West Rutland, Pat Charpentier of Queensbury, NY and Judy Barrett of Rutland; several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.. He was predeceased by his father, Raymond, his brother Gary, and his father-in-law Albert Charpentier. There will be no calling hours at Toms request. A Mass of the Resurrection will be celebrated at 11 AM Saturday, Dec 2 at St. John the Baptist Roman Catholic Church, Main St., Castleton with the Rev. Charles Rick Danielson, Parish Priest, as celebrant. Those desiring may make memorial donations to St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, P.O. Box 128, Castleton, VT 05735 or the charity of ones choice. Arrangements are under the direction of Ducharme Funeral Home, 1939 Main St. Castleton. .
