Wayne Soulia 48, died unexpectedly Thursday January 14, 2016 at his home in Castleton.
He was born April 22, 1967 in Tampa, FL the son of James and Mary Lou (Sohngen) Soulia.
Wayne was a graduate of Fair Haven Union High School class of 1985. He worked for several companies as an electrician including Omya, Bates & Murray, and CDP Electric.
He very much enjoyed his time hunting, fishing, playing pool and wood working.
Wayne is survived by his mother of Castleton, by his two sons Branden and Nathaniel Soulia both of Castleton, "stepson" RJ Carey of Alburgh, by his sisters, Debbie Soulia and her partner Kevin Dutil of Claremont, NH and Barbara Shaw and partner Buzz McCullough of Castleton, by his niece Lauren Shaw and fiance Ryan Laramie and their children Noah and Elias Laramie, and by his nephew Greg Shaw. Also by his step sister, June Villeco of Pennsylvania and step brother Jamie Brady of Rutland and his former brother-in-law Randy Shaw.
He was predeceased by his father James Nelson Soulia who died January 11, 1984 and by his step mother Joan Soulia.
Visiting hours for family and friends will be held on Thursday January 21, 2016 from 5-8 P.M. at the Ducharme Funeral Home Inc., located at 1939 Main Street, Castleton.
A memorial service will be held on Friday January 22, 2016 at 11 A.M. at the Funeral Home, with the Rev. Robert Noble pastor of the Castleton Federated Church Officiating.
