Hydeville, VT Mrs. Winona Effie Gray Winona Effie Gray 74, died Saturday July 7, 2012 at her home after a courageous battle with Alzheimers disease. She was born in Castleton March 9, 1938 the daughter of the late Morton and Gladys (Reed) Brown. She was a graduate of Fair Haven High School. She married her husband Robert L. Gray on July 25, 1958. Winona enjoyed spending time with her family and always put other before herself. She was a member of the Hydeville Baptist Church and a member of the Hydeville workers. She also enjoyed bird watching, watching pro wrestling and Baking. Survivors are her children, Robert Gray and his wife Mary, of Vista California, Debbie Regimbald and her companion Skip Smith, of Castleton, Lynn Gray, of Bomoseen and Jean Gray, of Rutland, by her seven grandchildren, her four great-grandchildren, by her sisters Myrtle Hall, of Bomoseen, Shirley Davis, of Castleton, Veronica Shaw, of Wells, Barbara Alt, of Castleton and Beverly Gray, of South Glens Falls, NY and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. She was predeceased by her husband Robert L. Gray who died February 23, 2006, by her sisters, Thelma Brown and Patricia Ballantine. Funeral services will be held on Saturday July 14, 2012 at 1 P.M. at the Ducharme Funeral Home Inc. 1939 main street Castleton, the Rev. James Hogan will officiate. Burial will follow in Hillside Cemetery Castleton. Visiting hours for family and friends will be held on Friday July 13, 2012 from 5 P.M. to 7 P.M. at the funeral home.
